Symptoms
Chlorotic stripes and wilting leaf tips with brown necrotic lesions. Later on the leaf may wither completely. Leaf shape is narrow.
Symptoms are localized on younger leaves first.
Reasons
Copper deficiency.
Copper undersupply may be caused by low soil content, reduced Cu availibility (adsorption in peat soils) or low uptake (overliming, nutrient imbalance).
There is only a narrow range between Cu deficiency and toxicity.
